I'M MADDIE YOUR NEW GO TO PHOTOGRAPHER
I'm a wife to my amazing husband Ryan, a proud dog mom to my girl Sadie, and a mom to my sweet baby boy Tate. I grew up in sunny Arizona but to my surprise I fell in love with a cute Canadian boy and we now happily call Calgary, Alberta home. My life motto has always been "I'm here for a good time not a long time" and I promise to bring my bubbly party personality to our session together. (aka I'll bring the party)
To get to know me better you should know:
- My family means the world to me.
- I love traveling.
- I'm a major swiftie and my favourite Taylor Swift album is either TTPD or lover
- I'm an animal lover through & through.
- Friends is my favourite tv show and I've binge watched it easily 15 times.
- I think an Oreo a day keeps the doctor away.
- I'm an enneagram 3W2.
- I find so much joy in decorating and turning our house into a home.

I CAN'T IMAGINE DOING ANYTHING ELSE
Photogrpahy has always been apart of me even from a very young age when I asked for a red cannon pocket camera for Christmas. From the age 8-12 you could find me spending my weekends planning photoshoots with the girls who lived in my neighbourhood. We would spend hours getting ready to style the perfect photoshoot at the park down the road. From 13-15 you could hire me and my friend for a whooping $20 to take your photos. We created an instagram and Facebook page for our Photogrpahy business "Shay&Mad" and proudly took portraits on our small cannon DSLR camera. From 17+ on I decided photography was something I really wanted to keep doing. So instead of spending my weekends with friends I spent it working so I could buy my very own camera and lenses. When I was 18 I launched my business "Madison.b.photo" and started to get hired by family and friends for photos. Since then I've shot over 100+ sessions, laughed, made connections, invested in education, upgraded equipment, made mistakes, and fallen even more in love with photography.

I find so much joy in meeting so many incredible people and making sure you feel comfortable in front of the camera. My biggest priority is to make sure you AND your significant other are not only comfortable during your session but having a good time. If we don't walk away from your session smiling and new best friends we're doing a do over.
